Missouri Baptist Children's Home
The Missouri Baptist Children’s Home serves both children and young expectant mothers during difficult circumstances all over our state. Often abused children and lonely mothers seek assistance and love at the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home. They nurture their guests by taking care of their emotional, physical and spiritual needs.
Children of all ages gather at the Home and supplies are needed constantly. Here are some ways to give.
The Need:
Below is a list of items the Children's Home has requested.
Special need - these are items currently needed most
- Large, duffle bag style suitcases (new or like new please)
- Women's underwear -- all sizes but especially size 5, 6, 7, 11 & 12
- Men's XL shirts
- Jeans -- all sizes Men's, Junior's and Misses
- Sanitary Supplies (Maxi Pads -- with and without wings, Overnights & Panty Liners)
- Deodorant -- Men's & Ladies (No aerosole cans.)
- Plastic Tubular Hangers
Bibles:
We provide a new Bible to each child when he or she arrives at MBCH.
- NIV Teen Devotional Bible (Hardcover)
- NIV Adventure Bible (Hardcover)
- NIV Women's Devotional Bible
Baby Items:
- Disposable Diapers (Sizes newborn - stage 3)
- Baby Wipes
- Diaper rash cream
- Baby Bath
- Dreft laundry detergent
- Clothing - sizes newborn - 12 months (onesies, t-shirts, socks, booties, outfits, sleepers)
- Cribs
- Crib sheets - porta-crib and regular crib sizes
- Bottles, bottle brushes, nail clippers
- Mobiles
- Educational infant toys
- Formula - Enfamil with Lipil, Enfamil, Enfamil with Iron
- Strollers
- Infant car seats (New only, please)
- Infant Clothing, equipment, and toys should be new or "gently used" (No stained garments, please. NO BABY POWER, PLEASE .)
